Light Surveys and Assessments

NJD Environmental Associates can undertake light impact assessments for proposed residential developments located near to existing sources of lighting, i.e. sports pitches or industrial estates.

We can also consider proposed lighting schemes with the potential to give rise to light pollution issues at existing residential receptors.

Light surveys are undertaken to determine baseline conditions and the potential impact from existing light sources on new receptors.

Should lighting levels be required to inform bat surveys, we can also undertake the necessary measurements and provide these to the ecologist to inform their assessments.
